I am writing this entry from the Washington, DC area. I am home in the USA for a week (week 8) and am enjoying catching up with my sweetheart, family and friends. I am also grateful for the time to reflect on the past seven weeks in France.

The past week has been a flurry of activity, involving personal meetings with various people at the Ministry of Culture and Communication and two industry conferences: Batimat and Salon du Patrimoine.
